The Clinical Research Coordinator A (CRC A) will be responsible for coordinating a number of clinical research studies for the Center for Digital Health. This role will specifically support the PA CURE grant focusing on using social media (e.g. Twitter to track health across the state of PA) and the Twitter heart disease grant. This position will also assist with identifying digital platforms for research visualization and dissemination. The position is responsible for the coordination of several studies and for overseeing all tasks necessary to ensure that studies are conducted safely and according to protocol; coordinating the IRB process. Additional tasks include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports of research projects; coordinating with the data team and outside partners for data collection, analysis and publication preparation; preparing materials for study meetings.
BA/BS and 1-3years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree preferred. Strong organizational skills; comfort with new technologies and study devices preferred; experience carrying out digital health research with platforms such as Twitter a plus; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
