The Marketing Manager, eCommerce - Calendar is responsible for managing the online activities planning across multiple retail websites. These activities include brand campaigns, retail store events, eCommerce promotions, product launches and more. The Marketing Manager is also responsible to coordinate the different CRM activities involving online across several retail brands, working in coordination with the CRM shared services team and external vendors.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own overall online marketing calendar for optical business in alignment with eCommerce managers.
Liaise with Marketing, Brand Team, Product Team, Retail, PR and Social Media for integrated marketing initiatives.
Drives marketing communication strategy structure based on brand calendar alignment
Kicks off project overview plan with cross-functional team.
Ensure on time and qualitative execution of the marketing calendar partnering with the content team.
Provide consistency (and diversification where needed) among the different brands’ calendars.
Partner with CRM CoE to plan and deliver customer retention and loyalty strategies.
Monitor and maximize customer lifetime value strategies ensuring maximum profitability.
Ensuring the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities.
Partner with CRM to monitor results of customer targeting activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
5+ years of marketing experience
Ability to develop and analyze financial/business data
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in matrix organizations
A strong communicator that can effectively report on campaign performance and lessons learned from completed initiatives
Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience with eCommerce Marketing
Experience in the optical industry
Knowledge of Vision Insurance industry
