Job Purpose: You will develop and implement strategic and innovative Social Media strategies that are aligned with the Ophthalmology brand strategies and enterprise reputation goals.You will be involved in: • Social Media Strategic Partnering and Counsel – Support the development and implementation of Social Media strategies to support Ophthalmology business goals by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization. Ensure application of the Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned model for social media.• Project Management– Support and enable execution of Social Media tactics for Ophthalmology Franchise by partnering with Communications, Marketing, Social Media Hub, Legal, Regulatory and Medical.• Global Collaboration/Alignment – Align thinking on social media current best approaches across Divisions, Global Pharma and Novartis Corporate Communications to accelerate business impact.• Governance – Adhere to existing social media governance and partner with key stakeholders across US Pharma organization to create Social Media Policy & Guidelines to support business needs and compliance requirements.• Innovation – Interface with Digital Service Providers and vendors to develop innovative solutions for department and Franchises to establish a strategic advantage.• Metrics/ Performance Management – Develop and manage performance measurement plans for Social Media programs and adapt and evolve strategy to continuously improve.• Agency/Partner Management – Work with agency partners as needed to deliver strategic, relevant, and innovative Social Media programs.---------------------------------------------------------------------750 million. Education: • Concentration in communications, public relations, marketing, social/digital media or related discipline is preferred. Experience: • 5 years required (and additional years preferred) of related experience working in social media and communications is required. Experience from a pharmaceutical or healthcare firm is preferred.• Experience with analytics, content monitoring/analysis and social media is required.• Experience managing Digital/Social Media campaigns for consumer good/consumer health industry is preferable. • Experience in developing and coordinating integrated Social Media/ communications/ marketing plans is required• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment is required.• Strong experience in project management and budget/resource management is preferred. Skills: • Confident to work with different personas in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Strong interpersonal skills.• Business acumen – stays on the cutting-edge of social technologies as they are introduced • Comfortable with ambiguity• Ability to prioritize and maximize limited resources to achieve goals• Strong collaborator and team-player
