BMC Software seeks a creative, driven, and detailed-oriented marketing specialist to join its Demand Marketing team. This role is responsible for delivering, monitoring, and enhancing marketing campaigns that support our business objectives. Successful candidates will have a background in the B2B enterprise software market with experience in campaign execution and a passion for testing and optimization. This position will execute demand generation campaigns for the following areas: Workload Automation, File Transfers, Big Data, DevOps, Cloud and ITSM (Digital Service Management).
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
•Executes, monitors, and optimizes marketing campaigns that create demand for BMC solutions across a mix of channels including search, social, direct mail, email, webinars, content syndication, direct response online banners, etc.
•Monitors and evaluates campaign performance results and makes recommendations for improvement
•Ensures campaigns are executed on time, on budget, accurately, and successfully
•Creates and maintains campaign schedules in Salesforce.com
•Delivers compelling and creative demand copy, including subject lines and calls to action that deliver stated ROI and pipeline generation goals
•Works with business team to ensure deliverables are met on time in alignment with the project plan
•Meets with business team weekly and provides status updates of projects, requests feedback and approvals of email content in a timely manner to ensure campaigns are launched on agreed upon schedule
•Manage translations and localization process for all product lines working with the translation vendor, product line stakeholders and getting assets reviewed by field marketing.
•Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills
•Comfortable working with other teams to get deliverables and projects completed
•Proactived, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to take programs from inception to completion with minimal supervision
•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines
•Comfortable using sales and marketing automation tools – Salesforce.com and Eloqua
•Strong Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
•5+ years of marketing programs required, 2+ years in demand generation preferred
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
