The Customer Experience Testing and Certification (CETC) team is looking for a highly energetic, motivated and talented people manager having experience on web, mobile applications with telecommunications background. This position is to lead a testing team for a stack of end to end applications on ordering, provisioning & billing functions in telecom with a Mobile first approach. Need a person to learn, grow & innovate as we continue to evolve digital initiatives, trends with verizon One Fiber strategy for Verizon Business Markets.
Understanding various initiatives on One Fiber strategy for Business customers of Verizon.
Partner with Clients, IT & PMO to estimate and forecast testing needs & skill set.
Plan test environments, data & test case execution on programs in agile process.
Assign & Track resources and manage timeline with quality delivery of testing.
Strategic expansion of Test beds partnering with Clients, IT & Back end systems.
Manage billing and payment process on test accounts for Revenue Assurance.
Expand Lab infrastructure suitable to Digital needs (mobile devices, profiles).
Manage performance of team having quality development plans & process.
Position available in either Basking Ridge, New Jersey; Irving, Texas; or Cary, North Carolina.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience on digital platforms, Labs & devices.
Ecommerce, Web & Mobile application knowledge.
Even better if you have:
Six or more years of experience on digital platforms, Labs & devices.
Highly Influential communication & partnership skills.
High Impact presentation skills, preferably with Digital background.
Strong people management in cross-functional environment & matrix reporting.
Strong project management skills on end to end IT systems development or testing.
Proficiency with ordering, provisioning & billing testing, preferable from telecom industry.
Proficiency with setting up testing environments, managing test accounts, billing process.
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, graphs & reporting.
Familiarity with SQL, Excel Macros & managing structured data in systems.
Familiarity with Lab Infrastructure & mobile device management.
Knowledge on Fios Network architecture and/or central office set up.
Knowledge on setting up testing labs and equipment.
Open to work extended hours, change in schedules or weekends based on business need (not regularly).
Experience in managing seasoned technical employees.
