What you’ll be doing...
This position will drive solutions and architecture strategy, design principles, implementation process, technical tools section and alignment between IT engineering teams within Verizon's FiOS Group (VCM) focusing on Digital Transformation.
Responsibility includes driving customer’s user experiences using Adobe Experience manager and other tools, designing microservices using cloud native technology and application program interface (API) management software. API’s developed needs to be highly scalable and optimized with sub second response times. Responsibilities further include presenting reference architecture, vendor and tools comparisons and recommendations, and high level designs.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with digital transformation programs (e.g. Products/technologies such as Adobe, SalesForce, AI/ML, SaaS, Cloud Technologies, API Platforms, technology stacks and/or Mobile frameworks).
Product evaluation experience (e.g. technology platform evaluations, RFP, selection or creation of technology roadmaps).
Even better if you have:
Master's degree in computer science or related discipline.
Strong communication and presentations skills. Previous experience in collaborating with Senior Management directly.
10+ years of relevant work experience in Enterprise Grade Application Implementations. 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture Role.
Experience in coding standards of Android/IOS mobile apps: Strong skill set in enterprise IT technologies including Service Oriented Architecture, Restful web Services, Middleware, Relational and NoSQL database technologies.
One or more years of designing cloud systems and AWS centric implementations.
In depth knowledge of following areas: Front end technologies, API Management tools, Content Management tools and micro services and cloud technologies.
Experience in participating in technology forums and leading discussions.
