About the role

Boston Scientific’s WATCHMAN franchise is launching a new digital product aimed at transforming how patients are managed in the hospital setting.  The product will generate value for nursing coordinators, implanting physicians, and patients alike, ensuring patients get the therapy they need in order to avoid the risks of long-term blood thinner use


We are looking for a digital product leader who will own the overall program and be responsible for its success.  This individual should have experience in product management for software and digital products in the healthcare sector – ideally in the hospital setting.  In addition, the individual should have experience navigating a cross-functional organization and possess a strong foundation in key technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce).


  • Lead cross-functional team to develop product and define business model
  • Work closely with a cross functional team to refine features to ensure product market fit and growth through on-going testing and analytics
  • Drive product strategy alignment with marketing, engineering, IT, customer service, compliance & sales
  • Own end-to-end consumer experience on the new digital product
  • In partnership with sales, create commercialization strategy and plan
  • Own product P&L partnering with finance on modeling and revenue forecasting
  • Develop sales process map including definition of key stakeholders and contracting structure
  • Own and execute go to market strategy
  • Own long-term product roadmap
  • Identify key roadmap contingencies including business operations and partner requirements
  • Insure product fit into franchise digital ecosystem – collaborate with other digital product owners to capitalize on product synergies


  • BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related subject
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product and entrepreneurial positions
  • Experience in software or digital product development required
  • Experience with agile methodologies for software development
  • Ideally experience in commercializing cloud-based software solutions into hospital setting
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with little direction
  • Proven track record building product management strategies and high caliber teams from the ground up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel between 10-20%
