In this role, the ideal candidate will own the technical platform implementation and support.  The Sr. IT Developer will work with Global IT, Platform Vendor Partners, and customers to implement data interfaces, manage data assets, and perform other platform ownership duties as requested. A DAY IN THE LIFE• Assume primary responsibility for the successful implementation and configuration of Intersystems IRIS Platform.• Assess the business customer requirements, do the analysis and identify an effective solution.• Expected to work independently with end-users and business partners to understand requirements, and design/estimate solutions.  • Ability to handle routine administrative work like applying patches, backups, resource management etc.• Work to develop solutions to moderately complex problems.  • Ability to diagnose problems/issues and correct them in a timely manner. MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)• Bachelor’s degree• 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)• Previous Medtronic experience• Priority consideration will be given to local applicants• Experience developing in Java• Experience with Industry leading Interoperability Engines such as Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, etc.• Expertise working with HL7, FHIR, and CCD/CCDA protocols• Experience working with JSON and XML• Experience working with ObjectScripts • Working knowledge on clinical data models (PCORNET, OMOP)• Working knowledge on at least one cloud provider (AWS,AZURE, GCP) with principle like data backups, resource allocations, sharding, etc.• Experience with DevOps principle, with knowledge on containers, CI/CD etc.• Understanding of Privacy & Security (e.g. HIPAA) requirements• Understanding of web certificates and encryption technologies (e.g. GPG, Syamantec)• Experience with Quality Systems and Product Development Process (PDP)• Healthcare IT Experience (provider and payor)• EMR / HIE Implementation or Integration• Experience with Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI, e.g. NextGate)• Experience with API Development Tools for example APIGEE, POSTMAN• Experience with Interface Development, for example WebMethods and/or Informatica Cloud• Experience with real-world healthcare data standards (ICD, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.)• Understanding of Regulatory Oversight of Medical Software• Experience with Device generated data and associated device metadata• Digital Health R&D Product Development Experience ABOUT MEDTRONICTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
