The Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for leading, developing and executing the success of online activity & community management for HARMAN’s automotive partnerships globally. The position will be expected to deliver results that meet the KPIs of HARMANS digital and social media strategy. In addition, success will be measured by take rates for branded audio through compelling fan engagement within digital & social (owned, earned and paid digital media channels), digital content and telling the brand(s) story through our brand websites to maximize the reach of the HARMAN brands through culture and to passionate audio and music fans everywhere.
This role balances marketing experience with technical skills to drive leadership for automotive digital marketing, advertising/media, branding, digital communications, content marketing, and social media. This subject matter expert will work closely with the Digital Marketing, Social Media Sr. Manager and the Senior Director of Car Audio, EU on analytics and execution for all automotive digital & social initiatives, ensuring campaigns/programs are on strategy, on budget, and effectively executed seamlessly. This position is expected to work cross-functionally to coordinate the many processes necessary to develop, implement, execute and manage an effective digital & social media strategy.
This role is responsible for leading the Car Audio SBU’s Internet presence, while flawlessly executing the digital strategy and budgets for global markets in coordination with all automotive customer activities. The role is also the interface between the global teams to ensure consistency of message, look and feel of Harman brands whether on the Harman corporate site, our consumer brand sites, or as embedded content on our OEM customer sites. Additionally, this role will help manage the global marketing content asset bank.
