The Master of Arts in Digital Media Strategy is an interdisciplinary program for students interested in designing, managing and measuring the effects of multimodal messages in a web environment. Your education will include both applied skills (such as writing, visual design, sound editing, videography and web programming) and theoretical knowledge that will help you design effective communication campaigns.
You will have plenty of opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in service-learning assignments and a master’s project for a local organization. Bridgewater College’s emphasis on close faculty-student relationships and experiential learning carry over into our approach to graduate education!
The program offers flexibility in course scheduling. If you are a current Bridgewater student, you can complete your B.S./B.A. + M.A. in only five years. Students who already have an undergraduate degree can complete the coursework at their own pace, with evening courses that allow all students to be employed while taking classes.
While the Master of Arts in Digital Media Strategy has been approved by the BC Board of Trustees, the program is currently pending approval by our accrediting agency SACSCOC with projected start date of January 2019.
